Since Jeff was in Canada most of last week, my Mom came down to stay with us. She came on Sunday and left on Thursday, which were the days Jeff was gone. We didn't do much. I had several errands that needed to be done throughout the week. So, we would venture out in the afternoon, but nothing too exciting. It too Miss Madison a few days to warm up to Grammy, even though it had only been a month since she had seen her. Every night, Grammy would call Grampy so that Madison could talk to him. It was cute! Here she is listening to her Grampy!
And here she is waiting on Grammy to finish so she can talk some more!
We had ordered the cats and Nacho their Christmas gifts. And yes, we do get them something big for Christmas! The cats got a drinking fountain. I had wanted one for a long time. They all like to drink out of the sink. Although, they aren't like my mom's cats and drink out of the faucet! They weren't too sure of the fountain at first, but now they seem to love it....especially Annie. I see her probably 8 or 10 times a day drinking out of it.
This is what it looks like.
And here is Annie drinking out of it!
Nacho desperately needed a new cushion to sleep on. We got his old one about 2 years ago from Wal-Mart, and it was just flat as can be. So, we ordered on online and had his name engraved on it. He wasn't too sure of it at first, but now he loves it.
Here he is asleep on it!
We will have another busy week ahead of us. Today, Madison and I went for her one year pictures. I had bought this really frilly dress. It was sooo cute. It was brown and pink and absolutely adorable. I would show a picture of it, but it is in Madison's closet and she's asleep. Well, I had never tried it on her, so this morning I tried it on her. It was a disaster. She just screamed and pulled it up over her head. She cried until I took her out of it. I told my mom about it, and she said I would do the exact same thing! So, I had to come up with another outfit and fast. Grammy had bought her this adorable sweater/cardigan last week, so I put her in that with a onesie underneath, jeans, and her polka dotted pedipeds. She looked really, really cute. We went the JcPenney, and the girl was really good with her. I told her up front that Madison was shy and she hates loud noises and stuff. So, she was really patient with her, and it went great. She only really cried once when I put her on her tummy. The pictures should be ready on the 22nd, so the grandparents will be getting some for Christmas!!
Tomorrow we are going to Jeff's Bone Marrow appointment. It is supposed to last 3 hours, so I hope Miss Madison does okay. I'm sure she will. If we can buy a house with her, I think she will be fine in a doctor's office!!
Also, Joby (my best friend, and Miss M's favorite aunt) might be coming to visit for a few days on Wednesday. It all depends on the weather, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it cooperates.
Friday my parents are supposed to be here, and then Saturday is Party Day!! It is Madison's one year birthday!! I can't believe that my little baby is not considered a baby anymore, but a toddler. Time sure flies by!
So, if I don't get anything posted this week, please understand!! I'll definitely post over the weekend of her birthday party though.
And, this is a just because I thought it was cute!
